Just when the business of Thanksgiving has come and gone, Black Friday brings an encore of sales you’ve been waiting all year for. We're tracking the best Black Friday deals, and if we’re reporting on them, they’re killer discounts worth grabbing. But as WIRED's sleep product tester, I urge you to take a moment to inventory your linen closet, bedroom, and bathroom. If your bedsheets have seen better days, or you’re still rocking pajamas with questionably large holes in them, it’s probably wise to swap in a new set for regular use—salute to those products for holding out this long.
Cozy Earth products have garnered a lot of hype for a reason, as they exude quality and luxury and are soft as heck. I’ve not only tested items from this brand for work, but am a customer myself—probably one of the highest honors you can give as a product tester who sees countless sleep products every year. Everything on the site is up to 25 percent off, but these are the things we've tested, loved, and recommend most.
Breathable Bamboo SheetsWhen I think of Cozy Earth, it’s these bamboo bed sheets that immediately come to mind. It’s the brand’s bread and butter; Cozy Earth's most popular product that put it on the map. It’s not hard to see why, given that these sheets are super breathable with a luxurious, silken feel. They’ve never let me down once as a hot sleeper. Given the higher price, I treat these like they’re made out of gold when I wash and dry them. But take care of them, and they’ll take care of you—I’ve had mine for several years at this point, and they’re trucking along.
Bamboo Stretch-Knit PajamasCozy Earth makes several types of pajamas and loungewear, but my personal tried-and-true is the stretch-knit bamboo pajamas. You can buy tops and bottoms separately, but I prefer to get them both at once to add to my pajama rotation. These PJs blend 95 percent bamboo viscose with 5 percent spandex, resulting in a stretchy, soft, and cool-feeling garment.
A Luxurious BathrobeOn “everything shower” days, I know that a quality bathrobe makes the experience feel that much more spalike—and keeps me warm as I work through all my lotions and potions. WIRED reviewer Nena Farrell liked how the cotton and bamboo viscose blend of Cozy Earth’s bathrobe felt durable while still maintaining the soft feeling the brand’s known for.
A Hypoallergenic Pillow ProtectorFrom experience, I can tell you washing a pillow is not fun. It’s necessary, absolutely, but to extend the time between washes, I highly recommend using a pillow protector. Cozy Earth’s pillow protectors are what I rely on to keep dust, liquids (aka drool), and other allergens from seeping into my really nice pillows.
