Watch: Pope Leo to US students: Don't let AI do your homework

Appearing from the Vatican via video, Pope Leo XIV took part in a question-and-answer session with 15,000 American Catholics at the national Catholic youth conference in Indianapolis, Indiana on 21 November.

Leo, the first US pope, answered questions about the Catholic faith and gave advice on how to make friends in school.

It is not the first time that Pope Leo has spoken about AI. In a June conference speech, he noted how humanity must continue "serious reflection and ongoing discussion on the inherently ethical dimension of AI, as well as its responsible governance."
