How Rider Nation celebrated the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ CFL win

The Saskatchewan Roughriders parade down Albert Street to the legislative grounds for a Grey Cup celebration in Regina.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders returned to Regina after defeating the Montreal Alouettes in the Grey Cup on Sunday.After a parade down the Green Mile, they arrived at the Saskatchewan Legislature for a special ceremony. Riders head coach Corey Mace thanked staff and volunteers, and Grey Cup MVP Trevor Harris called for back-to-back championships.Rider Nation made its love of the team known. Some fans travelled from across the province, and others skipped school to attend the parade.Players, many shirtless, chomping on cigars or crushing beers, celebrated on the steps of the legislature.Offensive lineman Logan Ferland drank out of the Grey Cup while wearing the hat of Speaker of the Saskatchewan Legislature Todd Goudy.
