I recently needed to send a parcel from Canada to my relatives in Ukraine and was not sure which delivery service would be the most reliable. After doing some research I came across information about international shipping to Ukraine
The process seemed quite straightforward. You can choose between air and sea delivery depending on how quickly you want the parcel to arrive. The minimum shipment weight is 5 kg and the maximum is 30 kg, which is enough for most personal packages.
One thing I liked is that every parcel automatically includes insurance for 60 Canadian dollars. If you are sending something more valuable, you can also add extra insurance up to 800 dollars.
I also found the customs information helpful. Parcels valued up to 150 euros can usually be delivered without additional import duties in Ukraine, as long as the shipment is sent from one sender to one recipient in a single parcel.
Even though the situation in Ukraine is complicated because of the war, the company still continues delivering parcels to private addresses whenever it is possible. Of course some areas may have temporary restrictions.
Overall my experience was positive and the process was easier than I expected. If someone in Canada is planning to send a package to Ukraine, this service is definitely worth looking into.
